It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of owner and pilot Nick Peters on September 15, 2026.
Nick was wholeheartedly devoted to his wife and three children. He loved his family deeply and dedicated his life to mastering his skills as a bush pilot, welder, and outdoorsman, working tirelessly and selflessly to provide for those he loved most.
Nick will be remembered for his admirable work ethic, wild sense of humor, and unwavering ability to genuinely connect with people. His impact reached far beyond his family and business, and his presence will be deeply missed throughout Alaska and beyond.

Nick's Air Service is your key to the last frontier. We are a family-owned and operated air taxi business located at the Birchwood Airport in Chugiak Alaska.
We are proud to offer professional flight services and tours with our Piper Super Cubs and Cessna 185 on wheels, skis, as well as supercub float service during June & July. Let us handle all of your transportation needs for eco tours as well as fishing, sightseeing, backpacking, float trips and other backcountry adventures.

Our Services
Our PA-18 Super Cub can have one passenger and their gear. It can handle a maximum weight of 335 pounds between you and your gear.
Our Cessna 185 can hold up to 5 passengers and a maximum of 1000 pounds depending on configuration.
My beautiful wife and her sister own Kenai Kayaking Company located in Cooper Landing Alaska
Our family also owns one of the highest ranking fish camps in the area!
